Its snowing outside.

I procrastinate on lots of things, this blog epitomizes that feature about myself. Anywho, I find myself on a sleepless night, and I'll finish the entries I meant to post nearly 6 months ago.

This post is about my visit to the modern art museum. My friend Catherine from Asheville happened to be in Vienna over the summer (SMALL WORLD RIGHT!!??) and she attended the gallery with me and my Duke friend Jing-Jing.

The Leopold

There are a RIDICULOUS amount of museums in Vienna, here is another one I visited, they had a lot of Schiele pieces as well as some by Klimt.

I just love this city so much, forget nyc, I'm moving to Vienna!!! (sigh, I wish).

The Natural History Museum!!!

I got into the natural history museum for free because apparently I can still pass for an 18 year old. And the museum was awesome!!! They were having a Darwin exhibit, but everything was in German, so I couldn't really understand what exactly was going on. Nonetheless the museum was full of old artifacts, interactive games, models, and replicas of things that were significant in history.

The coolest part about this museum???? THEY HAD THE FREAKING VENUS OF WILLENDORF!!! Not only is this piece historically significant, it is one of the most important pieces in art history! I remember back in sophomore year of highschool reading up on this very piece in my art history text book. Ahhhh nostalgia.
